The generics will shorten the life of the print head significantly. Another tip – use genuine canon inks of course. Press and hold the power button (While connected to power) Press the ‘cancel’ button SIX (6) TIMES. Spend a bit of money on a decent printer, not the cheapies and it will last for years and years. Does show the quality of canon printers though. Clean the ink tanks and printhead: If the error. Which by the way is probably the smarter option, especially if your machine is 10 or more years old, like mine. Replace the ink tank: The most straightforward solution is to simply replace the empty ink tank with a new one. The worst thing?
